Commencement Program 2021
The 108th annual commencement program of Olivet Nazarene University, Bourbonnais, IL, May 7 & 8, 2021
1995: The President\u27s Dinner for Faculty and Staff
We are pleased to welcome each of you to the 1995 Presidentās Dinner for Faculty and Staff. This evening gives us the opportunity to meet the new members of the Olivet Family and to record the accomplishments and milestones of our colleagues.
In keeping with the centennial celebration of the beginning of the Church of the Nazarene, this year has been designated as āThe Year of the Churchā at Olivet. This will give us the opportunity to take special note of this vital part of our heritage and continuing mission. Our relationship to the church is a defining characteristic of who we are and what we do.
May the blessings of the Lord rest upon us all this evening and throughout our work together this year.

2016: The President\u27s Dinner for Faculty and Staff
One of the long-standing traditions at Olivet is this annual Presidentās Dinner for Faculty and Staff. It is a gathering of the family and an occasion to formally mark the beginning of a new academic year. This evening also underscores the breadth and depth of the Olivet faculty and staff. Some are here for the first time while others have been part of the University for decades. We have different gifts, experiences and expertise, but we are united by our mission to provide āEducation with a Christian Purpose.ā
I encourage you to take a few moments to review the dinner program booklet. This provides an overview of many of the accomplishments of your faculty and staff colleagues: degrees earned, books written, presentations made, articles published, service rendered and much more!
We will recognize individuals for milestone years of service and welcome new members of our faculty and staff. We hope you have a wonderful evening and a great year.
